DJMJ stands for Deborah and Joyce’s Musical Journey, as an amateur production musical group we have been serving the community since 2002. We specialize in helping children find their way into drama and musicals. we put our shows on for the benefit and enjoyment of the public, cast and management team, our staff are made up of volunteers giving many hours to its cause and purpose offering many children their first opportunity and a start to their dreams.
As mothers ourselves we understand not all families can send their children to drama schools so we set out to in some small way to help these children fulfill their ambition and give them a positive outlook and a place to socialise plus a sense of belonging.
Deborah and Joyce have over the years put on many big named shows at many venues around London and the South East of England. see our Events Page.
The company is very much hands on with staff working with the parents of the children within the group.
djmj as our name relates only work at present on musical and is self funded we work on a not for profit basis, but there are cost to be covered, All the DJMJ staff have police clearance to work with children of all ages.

At DJMJ our shows are very much age related into three categories from 4 to 14 years old. 14 to 17 years and adults so there is something for everybody to take part in.
